Team Edward or Team Jacob?

I love the Twilight books. And the movies are fun, too. I remember how I told my sister how much I liked them and she said, "That's so 2008. You should read the Hunger Games books instead." Doh!

Instead of the usual mid-week Profile Cards, I am posting a one-framer instead. Beware of the Jurassic-ness of this post though as it has a Twilight reference. And one note to self: start reading Hunger Games (and watch the movie while I'm at it too!).

013: The Rich Girl

I made this comic strip a while back but haven't had the chance to post it.  It's generally part two of my post regarding Kat's entrepreneurial abilities

Sometimes it's not the "punchline" or "plot" of a story/comic that I like creating.  I like the thought of creating characters I love and even relate to.  I view both Kat and Mutya (girls above) as different sides of me -- Kat is the creative side and Mutya is the regular, studious side.

Profile Card: Jake

Jake the Mummy has not had much screen time but he's actually one of my oldest characters!  Rest assured he'll be in more posts in the future.

012: Sibling Love

While our trio dwendes usually get along, they fight like ordinary siblings, too!

Profile Card: Kap

To learn more about the characters, I decided to make a series of Profile Cards that contain information about them.  Needless to say, I try to make these creatures different from one another and hopefully this shows in the comics!

In no particular order, I'll start with Kap-- the friendly-neighborhood Kapre.

011: Emo

This post was inspired by a song called "If You Ever Come Back" by The Script.  I am not a music buff but this song was brought to my attention by a good friend of mine:

Here is the official video of the song if you are interested:

010: The Werewolf Question

Sometimes what we have not seen we question, like what I've depicted in my first comic strip.  I used to think dragons were real (the big, fire-breathing ones) and remember being disappointed that it was not so!  But then again, we never know, right?
